Starting in 1984, Custom Marine Inc. quickly caught the attention of the offshore-racing community by producing custom designed headers and tailpipes that offered superior performance and quality to meet their high-performance needs.
Expanding on our header production, CMI® became the go-to partner for products other than high performance exhaust. Soon, our Made in the USA Custom Marine product boxes weren’t just at performance marine OEMS, but they had found their way into tow boat and military boat manufacturers as well. CMI® is now the leading choice in wake enhancement, surf exhaust and military hardware.
Over the years, CMI® has expanded tremendously – in size and scope, but also in sheer research and development creativity. From tube bending, end forming and metal polishing to sensors and wire harnesses, Custom Marine houses one of the most complete and technologically advanced facilities in the world. With top marine engineers and the best stainless steel craftsmen and artisans in the United States working together under one 98,000 square-foot roof, Custom Marine has emerged as the industry’s unquestioned innovation leader.
