Custom Marine 2″ taller satin finished 496 satin finished E-Tops are a direct replacement header for your stock Mercruiser 496 Mag or 496 HO exhaust manifolds and risers. There are no additional custom tails to buy, these headers terminate at same location as the stock 10.5″ tall riser. In most cases these headers will work with your existing stock exhaust outlets. These headers feature a 1 7/8″ ID primary to get peak horsepower and torque. Mandrel bent and formed from High quality 316L grade material and fully post annealed to reduce stresses built up in the header during the manufacturing process. CMI offers the only seamless water jacketed header manufactured, no welded inner primaries or water jacketed tubes to crack and leak. Like all CMI headers these use our patented “Cool Collar” design provides a short hot section at the flange, which helps minimize the possibility of water ingestion in to the engine. This kit price competitive to other aluminum/stainless manifold systems but out E-Top kit offers superior performance and extended life span in harsh marine environments. For a twin application, these headers can be installed on 34.5″ drive centers.
